Zoo2Zoo Bike Ride

Having included Wagga Zoo in the 2008 Zoo2Zoo, it was decided to add another one in 2009 - that Zoo being Canberra.
So at 6am on Friday 16th October 2009, 48 riders left Taronga Zoo and simultaneously 12 riders set out from Canberra Zoo with the aim to bike ride the 420km and 470km respectively to Dubbo's Western Plains Zoo in 3 days. They were successful in their attempt.Day 1

A beautiful crisp morning greeted the Sydney riders at Taronga Zoo at 5am, where after a safety brief, the riders were on the way.
