Sydney Ride
Friday 12th - Sunday 14th October 2012
Initially, potential participants are asked to set an "everydayHero" page in order to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute. Whilst no minimum is required ot be raised, all funds raised will help the excellent work the institute does.

Due to ensuring that safety and logistics are maintained at a high level, numbers will be capped at 80 for the Sydney to Dubbo ride
The entry fee will be $450. The entry fee includes accommodation, insurance (what is covered in the insurance will be emailed at a later stage - it is recommended to also have Bicycle NSW cover or something equivalent), all meals, supplies, support car petrol etc.
In 2012, we are again supporting the Black Dog Institute. The Black Dog Institute is an educational, research, clinical and community-oriented facility offering specialist expertise in mood disorders - a range of disorders that include depression and bipolar disorder (formerly called 'manic depression'). The Institute is attached to the Prince of Wales Hospital and affiliated with the University of New South Wales.
As a result of supporting the same charity in 2012 as 2009, 2010 and 2011, the riding kit will remain the same. For those doing the ride for the first time, the kit is available for purchase when registering. You require a jersey to do the ride ($80), but there is a wide range of quality gear, that is available at cost.
All merchandise will be posted out as orders are received, if in stock, otherwise as soon as it arrives from the supplier.
When the Zoo2Zoo first started in 2006, accommodation at Molong was not a problem – 12 riders were able to all stay at the Telegraph Hotel. Now that the ride has grown to 100 riders and the desire to still stay at Molong remaining, accommodation at Molong will be four fold: Motel, B&B, Pub and "Other". When we write "Other", we mean the local Molong Magpies Rugby Club has generously offered accommodation with some of their players and local families in the area. The generosity of the Molong community was unbelievable in 2011.
It must be understood that not everyone gets their own room - we will endeavour to allocate shared rooms to groups of friends, but sometimes this is not always possible.
